SERENCO Today

History

Serenco (UK) Ltd was formed in 2000 as a wholesaler of tools and equipment to the automotive aftermarket in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

From our MD; Tony starting the business selling a small range of tools, wheel skates and booster packs from his garage, we have now grown to employ over 40 people and supply 400+ distributors every month with a huge range of over 6,000 stocked product lines. Over the years, we have focused on developing our own brands including BOXO and supplementing this with products from over 40 other brands.

SERENCO has enjoyed steady and sustainable growth year-on-year. We believe in re-investing in order to grow the company, but ultimately the success of SERENCO is down to our fantastic team!

BOXO is a premium range of hand tools and tool storage designed to meet the demands of the professional automotive and industrial markets. You can rely on BOXO, and we’re so confident in the quality of BOXO hand tools that we back them up with a limited lifetime warranty.

POWERHAND is our longstanding ‘own brand’ and includes a huge range of workshop tools, along with more specialist automotive equipment. We source from the best manufacturers in the UK, Europe and Far East to supply a range that is competitively priced and backed up with a 2-year warranty which we handle through our in-house Service Centre.

HURRICANE is built for the tough, workshop environment. The range is focused on larger workshop equipment including jacks and hydraulics for automotive and industrial applications. Specified and designed to deal with the heavy demands of a professional workshop. Supported by our in-house service team, all HURRICANE products are backed with a 2-year warranty.

Our leadership team

Our office, warehouse and service centre are based in Northamptonshire, but we also have a number of staff including our Business Development Managers who are field-based.

We have six directors in SERENCO; Tony Dearden, Dave Bennett, Vicki Gibson, Anna Southgate, Karl King and John Barnett. The Company is led by Managing Director; Tony Dearden with each department headed up as follows:
